Is This the New PlayStation 4 Controller?

A picture of what appears to be an early prototype for the PlayStation 4′s controller has been making its way around the internet. While bulky, the new controller does seem to be both consistent with the past rumors and consistent with past Sony design. The new controller appears to come with some sort of small touch screen, a speaker of sorts, and a big blue-ish light on top… which is assumed to be related to the commercial failure known as the PlayStation Move.
Is this bulky piece of plastic a good thing or a bad thing? What do you think?
